Then and now…

This is what pure joy looks like, true regeneration of the heart, in Christ.

After many many years out of touch and on an entirely different path, we came back together last night to share our testimonies and our stories.

God is always in the detail - turns out that day we were baptised up at Caloundra on King’s beach, the Lord encouraged them to the beach at the same time and they were not sure why. They had already been baptised. After resisting they finally went only to be stopped at the pedestrian crossing after we were just baptised when we were headed back to the car!! 🤣🤣🤣

They couldn’t believe their eyes!

God is at work, that’s for absolute certain, I’m loving the path we are on and the powerful evidence of His love for us all.

As it was, they had one night available to catch up with us before leaving Queensland for a while on their journey up to the Northern Territory. I agreed - with no clue whether or not we would even be available 🤣 …

So I said yes and knew that if God deemed this possible he would find the way through our crazy schedules — and that’s what happened.

He is so good! 😊 🙏🏻🙌🏻😇

I cannot believe the way God has worked in my life

I cannot believe the way God has worked in my life. I’ve just finished the third chapter of the Bible in a chronological order and have been extremely blessed to realise that God loves his children and Will go to extreme lengths to ensure that he doesn’t miss a one for me. This is an example of how he left the 99 to come after the one — me 🥲

You know, I don’t need a CGM – I can feel the impact that time of God has on my nervous system here’s a read of my blood glucose first thing this morning I Rose had my supplements reached for my Bible and continued my study.

I was delighted to see exactly how it makes me feel because blood glucose and blood pressure are actually pretty closely related. I’ve learned the more you can keep your blood glucose under control your blood pressure benefits and your central nervous system is kept in check. Here’s the proof as we get closer to God we become stronger physically emotionally and spiritually.

Sitting down at my Bible study this morning - and I had a smile when the ESV Archaeoloy Bible doesn’t know what Galbanum is!

Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Take fragrant spices - gum resin, onycha and galbanum - and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts, and make a fragrant blend of incense, the work of a perfumer.’ - Exodus 30:34-35 (NIV)

This is a little powerhouse of an oil in fact. Like most grasses, on its own it’s not that pretty. But it’s what I like to refer as one of the “medicinals” in that this is an essential oil that not only features in the Bible (I’m noticing all that do have profound benefits to the human body), they have very relevant benefits that we need today more then ever.

In classical aromatherapy Galbanum has some very important uses:

🌿 Inflammatory Skin Disorders
🌿Acne
🌿Pimples
🌿Cuts
🌿Wounds
🌿Scars
🌿Bronchitis
🌿Coughs
🌿Respiratory Issues
🌿Inflammatory Muscular Aches And Pains
🌿Rheumatoid Arthritis
🌿Indigestion
🌿Nervous related conditions

I do know what Galbanum is and I can see why God points to some of the most exquisite essential oils to support the human condition.

I have a theory about pure essential oils I’m working on - have you ever noticed the way they shift you emotionally and physically and by their nature are healing?? Remember God deemed the plants “very good” 😊
